Guild Rules
We have created The House Of Styphon to be primarily a questing guild but hopefully a fun one!
We aim to help our members whenever we can and enjoy all that Warcraft has to offer!
Our aims within The House Of Styphon are as follows, (and if these match your in-game goals then you will be a valuable member of the guild and will be most welcome):
- to show respect to all your fellow guildies, rudeness, harsh criticism or anything the officers deem to be unacceptable behaviour won’t be tolerated
- to help nuture a fun & friendly environment
- to not be an “elitist” guild, (we have no time for such players). Our mantra is to help and advise fellow guildies, NOT to assume you are better and NOT to criticise,. It is far better for the progress of the guild to help each other wherever possible
- to work together to enjoy the end-game content (no matter how far away that may be for you)
As a member of The House Of Styphon, we expect only a few basic requirements, such as:
- to obey all the rules set out here
- present a good image of the guild, you have our name above your head – so be polite and considerate to other players, anyone giving the guild a bad name will be swiftly dealt with
- to not sacrifice your personal life over a game, but to consider those who play more seriously and not to criticise or hinder their game play
Code of Conduct
- No excessive profanity
- we know we are adults (and we all swear sometimes). Keep in mind however, a lot of us may not find this funny or appropriate at all times
- while it is okay to swear from time to time, please keep it to a minimum
- be who you are and say what you want to say, but in respects to this all we ask is that you show courtesy to your fellow guildies with regards to each others’ views and opinions
- No harassing members, this includes:
- begging for gold
- begging for items
- begging for quest help
- lobbying or manipulating to get someone to leave the guild
- Members are expected to register and make use the guilds’ website and community to its fullest potential
- a lot of useful information can be found in our community, there is not enough space for permanent text in game so the community is a vital resource
- it is a good source to communicate with those that are not able to log into the game but are able to check the website outside of play times
- Chat courtesy
- no spamming in-game chat in any channel
- no spamming the guild community
- understand there may be occasions where other members cannot reply immediately, do not take this personally, because he guild member in question may be in an instance, AFK or otherwise busy
- Fighting
- if you have a problem with another guild member, take it to one of the Senechals
- problems will arise from time to time and the officers will deal with it as they see fit when the time is right
- Leaving the guild
- you may leave the guild at any time with grace
- if you leave the guild, having received more from the guild than you put into it, you will have no chance of returning
- if you were removed from the guild for violating any of the rules on this page, you will have no chance of returning
These rules are a guide and are by no means complete and are subject to amendments at any time as the officers see fit.
